HI there,

Most of the time with this code the DPFE sensor is the actual problem. If it's not reading properly then the computer thinks the egr is no good. You could also have a blocked or plugged up tube to the egr. The result would be the same. The sensor doesn't see any change in the pressure so the egr code will appear.
