Any recent repair done to the timing chain area? In order to have this code condition it is either with the timing chain such as jumping a tooth or being loose,It can also be the crankshaft position sensor breaking loose from its position.There has been a Campaign for the timing chain premature wear that GMC produced this deals with reprograming the ECM . If the reprograming cannot fix the situation the CKP has to be inspected for being out of place, It is pressed into the crankshaft and has a tendency to jump out of place , if this has happened the fix is to replace the crankshaft.
