2006 Mazda Mazda6 2.3L with engine codes P0012 and P2088

Question

I just bought a mazda 6 2006 and the check engine light is on...after checking i found out that the car had the engine changed.....the old one was a vvt engine which had an ocv and variable timing camshaft....the new one is just a dohc engine 16 valve...there is no ocv or variable timing camshaft.....so the ocv plug is free so the ecu gives error p2088 which is low current in the variable timing acuator control circuit...and the p0012 too is
Related....no i put a 12vdc lamp on the ocv plug which shut off the cel for a while but it keeps coming again
.....is there any way to flash a new image on the ecu..i mean an standard image that is not for a vvt engine
Just the standard dohc engine without variable timing camshaft??????? Hlp plz
