I have a 2006 Ford 500 3.0L with code P0701

Question

After replacing my 2006 Ford 500 transmission, my computer shows a P0701 code.

P0701 Transmission control system

This is more of a infomative condition there should be other transmission DTC that is occuring. When P0701 is present it will prevent TCC (torque convertor clutch) lock up, loss of power or acceleration, The way fix this is to fix the other DTC present with this code condition
