Replaced timing belt and water pump on a 2007 Chrysler pt cruiser as well I put on a re manufactured head: I had no compression come to find out I had exhaust valves stuck open on 2 cylinders. The job is complete motor runs and sounds great but stalls sometimes when I come to a stop. I have a po0016 cam/crankshaft position sensor code. I just threw a camshaft position sensor at it ( should have searched for a short in the circuit stupid me but I wanted to see if that would take care of the problem ) anything else I should look at to fix the car from stalling ?

Vehicle: 2007 Chrysler PT cruiser 2.4 l dual over head cam

Never had that problem before, but I heard of many techs having that problem after a timing belt installation. In some case the problem was a misaligned timing belt.
