2007 Chevrolet Impala V6 3900 with code P1174, what needs to be replaced? Do I need to get this fix?

P1174 Air fuel imbalance Bank 1

Vacuum leaks are the number one cause for this code condition , what can also cause this code is wrong oxygen ( 02)  sensor. At one time Chevy produced a limited time Recall to replace the 02 sensor which is now over. What you can try is to do a MAF (mass airflow) cleaning,with a throttle  body cleaning.and check for vacuum leaks.
