P0390 is the fault that comes out. I have checked the camshaft sensor and harness, they are ok but the car is still not running

Vehicle: 2004, Subaru legacy 2.0litre. EJ20C engine

if the battery is good and fully chargered, You cant really check to see if a camshaft position sensor is working correctly or not.

it uses a magnet to get the reading and it can only be "checked" if the car starts up.

you can check continuity and resistance but you will have to compare it to a brand new one.

most likely camshaft position sensor on bank 2 is bad if the car is not starting.
