Can a faulty engine temperature sensor affect the starting of the engine. I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima SE. The car starts normally first thing in the morning. After running the car in excess of 30 to 40 minutes and Then turning the car off- it will not start again unless you let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes after stopping the engine. Any ideas on what is causing this?
