I originally had a P0138 which is high voltage in O2 sensor, but I changed it out and the service engine light was still on right after I started the car after changing it. So I drove to advance auto got obd2 scanner and p0138 wasn't there anymore, it was p0140, which is inactivity in O2 sensor, so I erased the code. Is the new O2 sensor bad? If it is bad will the service engine soon light come on again after a while even though I erased it?

P.S. I changed sensor about a month after getting p0138 code diagnosed. A week later the service engine light turned off by itself. Then a couple days after that, the light came on again. Then I finally changed sensor 3 weeks later only to find out after changing it the code is p0140 and not p0138 anymore. I erased the code like an hour or 2 ago.
This is the left downstream O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor2
