I have an Olds Intrigue 2002 3.5L engine How do I fix the P0340 problem? The "Check Engine" light is on and remains on.

In most cases the P0340 code can be repaired by replacing the cam shaft position sensor. The cam sensor is mounted in the cylinder head. If you remove the coolant recovery tank you can access it.
