P0017 Lexus -

Question

Hi.... I have lexus IS 350 2006
I got two codes P0016 &P0017
What should I do to clear the check engine light from the dashboard????

P0017 Crankshaft position-camshaft position correlation Bank 1 Sensor B

P0016 Crankshaft position-camshaft position correlation Bank 1 Sensor A

Bank 1 is where cylinder 1 is located , one is for the intake side and the other is for the exhaust side.This would normally code just one solenoid, and you would just replace one of the solenoids

Because you would have both solenoid for one bank , Check to see if a Recall has been performed on this vehicle TSB# SC-DLG, or NHTSA13V395000, There also been incidents where the actuator gear has become loose ,due to cold start ups.
