P0888 Chrysler -

Question

I took my 2004 Chrysler pacifica in to have the EOM flashed. This happened once before when my car went into Limp mode. After they replaced and flashed the EOM it remained in Limp mode.The code that came up was P0888. I am being told by the dealership that this means that my IPM needs to be replaced. Im not completely sure they know how to flash the EOM.

how long ago did it happen? if its a common problem there might be bad group or a short in the system that might be causing the issue.

what is EOM? Are you talking about the PCM (powertain control module)?

there is one way to reprogram it or else it would not work.

I'm not sure how much you are spending on the repair but if its going to happen over and over, I would just sell the car.
