Please tell me what this code means for my BMW 530i it is a 6l cylinder 2007.

P0015 Camshaft position timing over retarded.

This is for the exhaust VANOS mechanism or "B" camshaft over retarded. The best way to approach this code is to check the VANOS solenoid valves especially the exhaust side which you have coded, the solenoid has a tendency to jam or stick.
