P0263 - is car safe to drive?

Question

This appears to be intermittent fault- occurs after filling with diesel. Engine light comes on about 10 miles after refuelling. 'Disappears' after used about quarter of a tank. Had diagnostic to get code but not able to get to garage yet to have cause further investigated. Car lacks a little power when light on, has only seemed to 'stutter' misfire/once. Doesn't go into any limiting mode, i.e. can do 60 or 70mph (just lacks a bit of acceleration). thanks
