Why woud there be regular miss like its missing on certain cyliners if its crankshaft sessor p0016 code and not hit and miss type

P0016 Crank shaft position- camshaft position correlation.

Missing at certain cylinder , was there any recent repair like a water pump replacement? or a timing chain installation ? Is there any other code beside the EVAP code condition such as the valve timing? This is more of a mechanical condition if there is a miss at the engine
