My 2000 camry the code popped up out of nowhere. The battery was dead so I charged it. Turns out it had a bad cell so I replaced it with a new one. Now the car runs great wen all the elctrical components are off but when I turn them all on the car sputters at 1500rpms and throws a p0340 code. Is the sensor on it's way out?

HI there,

I would start with the sensor, but also take a look at the charging system. It is possible that since you had a bad cell in the battery it's done damage to the alternator. This electrical flaw could actually be the cause of the P0340 cam sensor code.
