P1507 Ford - mercury cougar

Left it sit for a day now it will not start. Pluged in to obd comes BAck with 1507 code

Hi there,

This code is for the idle air control (IAC) if the pintal is stuck it can make the engine very difficult to start. Also cause problems with the engine idle speed and stalling. Sometimes you can remove these and clean them up to test and if it wonks, you can continue to use the one you repaired.
