check engine light flashes code PO300 sounds like its only running on 2 or 3 cylinders smells raw fuel. Replace ignition control module about every 3 months. This has been going on for about a year. Replaced coil pack, o2sensors, fuel filter, fuel pump all within the last 12 months. What is causing the ignition control module to keep going out?

Hi there,

There could be a couple of reasons. First, part quality. If you are getting the part from a discount supplier then the quality itself could be causing the issue. The other common cause would be poor grounding. Check all of the grounds, start with the main negative cable off the battery where it connects to the engine and transmission. Then loosen and retighten all the grounds you can see in the engine compartment and on the engine.
