P0016 GMC -

Question

I have replaced my camshaft position sensor actuator and crankshaft sensor and my code still reads p0016 and p0016 pending. The engine runs and starts just fine. What else could the problem be? The vehicle has 139,000 miles on the engine

p0016 is for the camshaft actuator solenoid (not camshaft position sensor) which use oil pressure (so dirty oil or the wrong weight of oil will set the light on)

the engine use 5w-30 or 10w-30 oil (nothing else should be used) if you have not replaced the oil in 4k miles replace the oil and oil filter (the car takes 7 quarts of oil) use a good oil 

the camshaft actuator solenoid and camshaft position sensor are two different sensors
