in a 1996 Chevrolet cavalier, when i starts the car the light of check engine comes and inmediately the electrical ventilator starts, it has a difficult start in cold and hot, it was scanned and shows p0300 code.
it was a bad oxigen sensor or car out of time? (sincronization).

i check plugs, plugs wire, coolant temperatura sensor, all is fine.

thanks.

Vehicle: 1996, chevrolet, cavalier 2.2L

P0300 Random misfire

Plug wire or ignition coil can cause the random misfire it more than likely will be ignition related due to the location of where the ignition coil and how the plug wire are routed due to its design..as for the engine being out of time , this engine uses a timing chain so this is very unlikely will be the problem.
