HI there,

there isn't anything that will cause both of these codes at the same time. They are unrelated.

P0171, lean fuel mixture on bank 1. This is normally caused by intake manifold leaks, bad mass air flow sensor, bad O2 sensor. Occasionally this can be caused by low fuel pressure.

P0121 code is for the throttle position sensor. Normal causes for this code are either the sensor itself or the wiring for the sensor.
