I have a 2007 camry and the check engine light came on while my car started knocking when I pressed the accelerator. I took it to a dealer and they replaced the water pump. a month later the same problem started so I took it to a different dealership and they said it was the knock sensor. does the water pump have anything to do with this code PO335?

P0335 Crankshaft position sensor circuit

The waterpump can cause the knock sensor to code up if there is a coolant leak the engine tends to run hot, the knock sensor tries to adjust the pinging noise when you accelerate. Or the water pump was broken and making the noise either way the noise needed to be resolved. P0335 is for crank position sensor.
