2001 Honda CRV 2.0L with engine code P0170

Question

I have a 2001 Honda CRV 2.0L and i got check engine light on the code it gave me was p0170.....now i wanted to know what would be the best way to go.....it doea not want to start like it wants to but but it feela like there is not enough fuel or something.....

HI there,

This is a fuel trim code for bank 1. Since the car does have some trouble starting it could indicate a problem with the bank 1 O2 sensor. It can cause a lean or rich fuel mix that will cause problems with the engine starting. Old worn out spark plugs can cause this as well.
