P0174 NISSAN -2003 Pathfinder

Question

Just replaced the MAF sensor. Check Engine Light still comes back on after being reset.  Gas mileage has dropped off. Nissan dealer suggests one of the cylinders is miss-firing and suggested wating for a P0001 through P0006 code to appear to identify the cylinder.

any thoughts?

First, you have to disconnect the battery for one hour after replacing the maf sensor.This resets the fuel trim and the code will reappear. The code is for a lean condition, if anything if there is a misfire it will make it rich not lean.

Also, you must use a nissan factory maf sensor. The aftermarket sensors don't hold up and usually within a week or 2 they fail.
