P0500 2000 Toyota Camry -

Question

On my 2000 Avalon the ecm is not getting the vehicle speed signal from the source and is causing the po500 code, which pin # on the combination meter gets the signal from the speed sensor and which pin outputs to the ecm and what are the wire colors? If I had this info. I could determine if the combination meter is getting the signal and outputting it to the ecm, this would greatly help in figuring what the cause is.

P0500 Vehicle speed sensor

This code is a tough one , there are 3 vehicle speed detection monitor , there is the vehicle speed sensor at each wheel sent to the combination  and into the ECM  this is 1 method there is the 2nd method.the transmission output shaft (NC) speed sensor,that goes to combination meter then ECM and the (NC) speed sensor that goes directly into the ECM.The best way to fix this is another combination meter
