got obdII code and engine light PO171 bank 1 system too lean and PO171 bank 2 system to lean???

On my 2002 Ford F150 5.4l V8 Tritan 4x4 the service engine soon light came on and I pulled out my obdII tool and ran it came up with code #PO171 bank 1 to lean and bank 2 to lean? what do I need to do to fix the problems ad what are they?
