Where is the solenoid on my 2000 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L? told cleaning it would work dirty oil I got the VCT solenoid P1388 code

if you have replaced your oil and filter in the last 4k miles you should start there (use a good oil like mobil 1 or pennzoil platinum or ultra)

bank 2 is on the driver side, you will have to remove the valve cover, to get to the VVT solenoid
