where is the sensor located and how do i repair it

The code is not specific to a single sensor. It's usually best to do a smoke test and try to locate the leak in the system. Also, the vent control valve (mounted to the canister) and the purge control valve ( mounted under the hood) should be tested as possible causes as well. This is sort of a blanket code. The computer is saying I know there is a problem, but I am not sure where.
