P1349 Toyota -

Question

Hi,i am driving Toyota Noah,last week the car overheated after a water horse pipe broken and water spilled out during driving but there was no any signal inside the car till i noticed but it was late coz the oil was spread out all over the engine.we dis ambled the engine, resurfaced cylinder head, changed gasket ,and do overhaul .cam shaft also was changed due some technical negligence done by the mechanic during assembling ,and also all four fuel nozzle was damaged by the heat ,so it was also all changed .Now the car is ok but check engine light turns ON every after 5km Driving .after the computer diagnosis test done ,an error P1349 was NOTICED.could anyone has an idea of what is the cause of this Error?

Did you replace the oil and oil filter and using the correct oil weight the engine takes?

I would replace the oil if you have not done so, maybe do any engine flush.

If that does not help I would double check to see if the timing is correct 

Possible causes

- Dirty or low engine oil

- Valve timing

- Oil control valve

- Variable Valve Timing controller assembly

- Engine Control Module (ECM)
