2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L with code P0715, what if there is no code? No shift in auto but the shift is fine in manual. Fluid and fuses are fine.

P0715 Malfunction in the input shaft speed sensor

Without the input shaft speed sensor it will not shift, If you can manually select the gear we can rule out a internal mechanical condition this leave you with a TCM that can be at fault or the input speed sensor, Hyundai has produced a TSB about this condition TSB# 09-04-006 what this TSB deal with is a input speed sensor and the output speed sensor which is replaced and along with open or short in the harness  that effect the TCM and PCM
