P0446 Evaporative emission control system vent control circuit malfunction

The purpose of the CK ENG LT is to prevent harmful emission into the atmoshpere.The code condition you have is with the EVAP cansiter vent solenoid. This produces no drivability condition and you would not know you have a problem unless the CK ENG LT informed you. The problem with this code condition is  what if you have another code that is  creeping in that is very important such as a misfire or a transmission problem with the CK ENG LT already on you would not know of this unless you constantly are checking the CK ENG LT.Yes you can drive this vehicle from Texas to Louisiana but remeber this is a emission violation which prevents you from registering the vehicle when the vehicle renewal inspection is required.
