if I replace the crank shaft sensor will the po725 code then be corrected?

if there is no wiring issue replacing the sensor should fix the problem.

there was a recall or this issue, not sure if they have done the recall, they have to reprogram the ECU 

you can call and check to see if it has been done, if it has replace the sensor
