P0340 Dodge - stratus

Question

2001 stratus stalled while driving. I'm getting two codes: p1684 & p0340. I changed the camshaft sensor, but it still wont start. It sounds a little off when it cranks, maybe like something off balance. Any idea what this could be? Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

It sounds like the timing belt may have broken, usually it will sound off when cranking and set the code for the cam sensor. This is because the cam isn't turning.
