P1682 Chevrolet - can I clear code if alt and battery check ok?

Question

The check engine light came on after I had a low battery episode and had to recharge it. Afterwards my "check engine light" came on and remained steady (not blinking). Checked alternator and battery at Autozone. Both checked out ok. Could a low charge on a battery cause the code to be thrown? If so, can the code be cleared. And, if so, how?

Yes its possible reset the code if it does not come back you are fine.
