2000 Hyundai Accent 1.5L 12 V with engine code P1401

Question

The car doesn't seem to have any issues when driving other then a rough idle which it has had since I purchased and a faulty overdrive switch ( which broke in the on position thank god! ). Threw this code a few weeks ago, was cleared and is now back on. Any ideas on what to try and do would be great. Thanks in advance

P1401 Diagnostic Module - Tank leakage, (DMTL) System Malfunction

With this code condition, the DMTL air pump motor current draw is higher or lower than expected

Water has been known to enter into this pump where the elbow connection has to be removed and inspected for. Hyundai has produced a TSB for this condition TSB #00-30-002. This is a suggested repair, it also suggests that the air filter for this module be replaced.
