I have a GMC 97 350 Vortec K1500 P0300 multipl misfire consistant excess fuel in cylinders 2 and 4. I have covered all possible sensor malfunctions, coil, tbs, map, maf, remaining test would be cylinder compression, fuel pressure, or faulty injectors. I have been told to consider replacing the entire spider configeration. Doesthis sound like a good approch to the problem?

Hi there,

With the multiple misfire code and the lean fuel code on bank 1, I would consider checking for intake manifold gasket leaks. The spider injectors due tend to leak in these so it's not a bad approach, but I would check for intake leaks first. It's a very common issue on the 4.3 engine.
