have a 93 300e mercedes didnt pass smog on report said failed air njection obd systems check?

i bought a 93 300e mercedes no check eng light on i went to get it smoged to transfer over and it failed as a gross polluter the air injection obd system checks what do i do?

1993 MBZ is a OBD 1 type vehicle what you failed on is the function test , this is where the CK ENG LT. failed which would require you to replace the light bulb ,in the instrument cluster. As for the secondary air pump its function needs to be check and any missing air injection hoses need replaced.
