Question

I have an 07 f150 5.4 it get a loud rattling sound when I slow way down or park checked with computer and codes p0340 comes up 2 times and p0345 comes up also what's causing this

P0345 Camshaft position sensor "A" circuit Bank 2

P0340 Camshaft position sensor "A" circuit Bank 1

This code condition will not cause a rattle sound or any sound, if this code condition is accompanied by a rough idle you will need a camshaft solenoid , it is adviseable you replace both sides,They are located in the valve cover, one for each cylinder head.
