P0321 Volkswagen - if the battery charge is very low would this cause this error?

Question

polo wont start due to another problem. i have turned the engine over trying to start it and now the battery is low. this error code only came up when the battery went low. if the battery is charged will this cancel out this fault?

P0321 Ignition/distributor engine speed input circuit

Battery low and no start will cause this code condition. Recharged or battery anew , will take at least 3 drive cycle for the engine light to cancel
