Do I replace the solenoid on top of tank with part #19207763 ? Heard GM has had problems with vent for tank in past.

Vehicle: 2005 chev silverado 5.3

Hi there,

This code is related to the vent control valve on the charcoal cansister

The most common causes would be the vent control solenoid itself, power to the solenoid or the ground. This can also be caused by a faulty PCM.
