Dealer gave me a tune up about 6 months ago. Afterwards, they said it would hardly run, and that the CAT went bad. They had the front CAT cleaned.....said it was good as a new one, but that the Check engine light might remain on. It did. Just recently car would miss (jerk) when on long trips after the car warmed up, after about an hour. It progressively got worse, and didn't take as long to act up. Was also stalling out at stop signs and red lights. Loss of power for a few seconds, then return and the car would speed up. The only code that shows is a P0600. Dealership said I had to keep driving until it spit out a more specific code as the P0600 indicates random misfire. I kept driving and finally got to the point that it was not road worthy. They said it finally set another code, and replaced an O2 sensor. It was good for one short trip to a restaurant, and now back to the same symptoms as before. Very frustrating. Could it be related to the cleaning of the CAT? Any suggestions?

P0600 This is a ECM failure, with this type of code it will misfire and stall out and sometimes will not start. The solution for this is to replace the ECM.
