P0401 Chevrolet - is the p0400 the same code

I have a 1998 chevrolet tracker showing the p0400 code. is this the same as po401

Hi there,

While not identical, both codes do relate to the EGR valve. What we see a lot on these is issues with the EGR tube becoming clogged so there isn't any change when it opens. This will cause the codes to appear. Check and make sure the tubes and ports are clear.
