I find after market oxygen sensors have either 3 or 4 wires, how many wires should there be?

No the question is not answered. I have a P0037 code and the dealer has already told me I need a replacement oxygen sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2. I need to know why some have 3 wires and some 4.

Some after market oxygen sensors are universal and may have to be rewired. They make some that are exactly like the OEM find the part number and do a cross reference. If you dont have to buy the OEM one.
