HI there,

A faulty mass air flow sensor will cause acceleration issues. The maf tells the computer how much air is coming into the system and the car will use this info to add gas. If it's reading wrong, then the fuel mixture will be off and you will get hesitation and stumbling on take off and sometimes the car will stall at idle as well.
