P0030 Subaru -

Question

On a Subaru 2008 I have a P0030 HO2S Bank Sen 1 1 heater Circuit Code. Which HO2S Sensor do I replace? Do I replace the front one or the back sensor?

P0030 H02S heater control circuit (Bank1 sensor 1)

Bank 1 means where cylinder is located,which this engine has 1 bank only, sensor 1 is the upstream or the engin monitor sensor which is the 02 before the catalytic. sensor 2 are catalytic sensor or behind the catalytic or downstream sensor . Before replacing this 02 sensor ( this is a airflow sensor but referred as 02 sensor) check the fuse this is a fuse protected sensor in the engine fuse box listed as SBF-5 .
