Question

I have a 2004 s10 with the ck engine light on and its showing that the emission vent valve solenoid code on computer I put a new gas cap on. How hard is it to fix?

HI there,

This actually isn't that difficult to repair. It's mounted to the cross member on the frame behind the gas tank under the truck. Its a fairly common issue and usually replacing the valve itself will resolve the problem.
