my f 150 came up with four codes that are po and four that are pd.the meaning please.

it a 1997 f150.4.6ltr.eng the codes that came up were, po308,po138,po406 andpo1131 but they also came up as pd308.etc.

P0308 Misfire cylinder number 8

P0133 -02 sensor slow response (Bank 1 sensor 1)

P0406 EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) recirculation sensor "A" circuit high

P0138 -02 sensor circuit high voltage (Bank 1 sensor 2)

Before any code can turn the CK ENG Lt. on it is recorded in the pending mode. The ECM try to make the correction but if the fault allow the ECM to max out its ability for a correction the CK ENG LT turns on. A circuit high voltage means a disconnection there is power going to the sensor but as a result of not being consumed,the ECM see this as circuit high or a disconnection.
