I had a transmission man look at my 2000 dodge ram and hooked up two different solenoids which all kept sending the same error code. He told me he thought the computer was bad and needed to be changed. Do you think that could fix my problem?

Vehicle: 2000 dodge ram 1500 5.9L

P0753 Transmission 3-4 solenoid / Transmission relay circuit

Possible cause of this code condition are 1) . Transmission control relay open (B+) fused    2) .Transmission control relay 3) .3-4 solenoid.   4)solenoid and harness  5).PCM.  If 2 different solenoid all kepts sending the same error this leads you with a electrical problem, This problem can be with the Transmission solenoid assembly , The transmission control relay which is in the PCM.or the transmission control relay in the PDC (power distribution box.) / engine fuse relay box.
