P0403 Dodge -

2001 Dodge ES mini van has two codes showing for check engine light ... P0601 and P0403. the Po403 is the EGR vacuum solenoid and a cheap replacement fix. P0601 is a very expensive computer replacement. Are the two codes related and if I replace the EGR, will that cure the problem?

Vehicle: 2001 Dodge ES van 3.8 engine.
