U0101 08 Chevrolet Impala-

Question

This error code came up recently, U0101, in my parents 2008 Impala 3.5 engine. Is this for a Trans Control Module or Trans Control Solenoid? Also, these two other codes appeared, U0073 & P0455. Are these related to the U0101?

U0101 - try to reset it and see if it comes back  it means the ECM lost communication with TCM for a few seconds 

U0073 - Control Module Communication Bus A Off 

P0455 Chevrolet - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected Gross Leak 

make sure the gas cap is on tight 

Possible causes

- Missing or loose fuel cap

- Incorrect fuel filler cap used

- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close

- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap

- EVAP canister or fuel tank leaks

- EVAP system hose leaking

- Fuel tank leaking
